After visiting their stand at the beauty show in London, we became very interested in the Megawhite Teeth Whitening System, and almost signed up there and then!
Blue Fusion is the product we were drawn to
It uses a non-peroxide tooth whitening formula that promises results in one fifteen minute session. This is achieved with the aid of a LED activating light.Due to the high initial investment (purchasing of the product and equipment), we decided to test the home kit, which the manufacturer claims will bring results in 5 days, without the need for the LED lamp.
We enlisted the help of a volunteer, who has been unhappy with his yellow teeth for some years. To give the product a fighting chance, we purchased two tubes of Blue Fusion for a 10 day trial, and took a photographic record of the results.
Here they are;
Day 1 08/03/2015 |
Day 10 18/03/2015 |
Sadly, as can be seen in the photographs, the results are inconclusive. There may be a slight improvement, but the day 10 photo is a brighter exposure, so it is difficult to draw a true conclusion. The 10 day trial cost £30, so to achieve a noticeable result you would be looking at spending many times this.
It may well be that using the LED light would have given a better result, but the non LED Home Care kit did not live up to expectations. Based on these results, we have decided not to use the Megawhite Blue Fusion System in our salon, as all of our treatments must be proven to give results for our customers - Customer satisfaction will always remain our top priority.
